My (Ashley here) aunt (my father's sister) passed away last week. It's times like these that make being so far away from family difficult. A lovely obituary along with comment contributions from those who knew Cathy can be found here. I didn't get to spend a ton of time with Aunt Cathy, but enough to know she loved her daughter and quilting. She also loved being a nurse. Being a fighter, she outlived her doctors' predictions for her life by about 4 & 1/2 years! She is definitely missed.
